Should you supplement?

I’m sure you’ve been wondering this yourself.

“Do I need supplements to gain muscle or is it possible to maximize my muscle gains without them?"

Here’s some information.

This is a billion dollar question (given the insane amounts of money that are made off of supplements to gain muscle), and it all boils down to what we mean by the term “need”.

The question that pops up is “Do you actually need these supplements?”

When you train hard and focus on consuming protein, carbohydrates, and fats that come from high quality sources, you will see a major increase in your muscle mass and strength.

It is not necessary to use supplements to gain muscle. Without a doubt. Gains in strength and muscle mass are possible without them.

So supplements to gain muscle should be completely avoided by bodybuilders, correct?

Incorrect.

There is one more issue to address….

“Should bodybuilders maximize their gains in strength and muscle mass by using supplements to gain muscle? "

Here comes the million dollar answer…. Without a doubt!

The fact is, although you do not need supplements to gain muscle mass and strength, they ARE invaluable if you want to become as huge and strong as possible. If you focus on investing in the correct supplements and use the proper amounts, you will definitely gain an edge over a person who has decided to train without using supplements.

If you can spend a few extra bucks on supplements to gain muscle and maximize your gains, it seems like a logical step to take considering the endless hours of hard work and dedication you put in at the gym and at home.

It’s up to you to determine how much gaining muscle is worth to you.

For example, if putting down some money for a bottle of creatine ensures that you are able to lift heavier weights, it makes it worthwhile.

If buying a tub of whey protein can make your eating plan simpler to follow, then why not go for it?

“So, do you need supplements to gain muscle if you want a better physique?"

If your goal is to develop as much strength and muscle mass as possible, then you certainly should consider investing in some basic supplements.
